Its heyday came in the early nineteenth century when spice cultivation was developed and, as a result, Zanzibar became the most important town in East Africa.

DAY 2
After breakfast depart for City Tour. This is a three-hour guided sight-seeing and visit to popular Zanzibar Stone Town and historical sites. Lunch at Mtoni Marine Restaurant/Passing Show Restaurant to sample sea foods and typical Zanzibar cuisine.
After lunch you proceed on a three-hour exotic Spice Tour. Here you can see, smell, touch and sometime taste a wide variety of spice, fruits herbs and ornamental plants and flowers. Return to the same hotel for dinner and overnight.

Lunch at Kizidi Beach Bungalows After lunch you proceed on the visit of Jozani Forest, well known for its population of the rare Red Colobus monkeys. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight at hotel.
